    Our Programs

    Infant

    Ages 6 weeks – 18 months

Gross and fine motor skills are crucial during this developmental stage, as well as language skills. Our caregivers work hard to provide fun and engaging lessons centred around play to help your baby develop their cognitive skills.

    Infant

    Ages 6 weeks – 18 months

Gross and fine motor skills are crucial during this developmental stage, as well as language skills. Our caregivers work hard to provide fun and engaging lessons centred around play to help your baby develop their cognitive skills.

Our infant room provides dedicated play space and a solid base for achieving important developmental milestones. There are plenty of sing-alongs and toys that encourage the skill of imitation, defined by ELECT as taking part in pretend play and imitating adults. This is a core stage of the child’s development, modelling the actions of others and receiving verbal feedback and direction from our caring support staff.

    Toddler

    Ages 18 months – 2½ years

Our Brampton Toddler daycare program hones in on this developmental stage of independence, a strong personality, and learning more about how we fit into the world around us as human beings! This age group is so much fun to work with because they are constantly asking “why” and are ecstatic just to learn and explore.

Our staff is dedicated to helping children at this age level in our Toddler daycare program with memory retention and language skills. We place labels for every toy, piece of furniture or appliance in our Toddler playrooms! Social cues are a significant daily focus throughout the toddler daycare program.

    Preschool

    Ages 2½ years – 4 years

Our Brampton Preschool childcare empowers children in the areas of self-regulation and collaboration with peers. During these formative years of interpersonal skill development, a major focus with our preschoolers is learning about turn-taking and being able to interpret social cues from others.

Our Brampton Preschool childcare empowers children in the areas of self-regulation and collaboration with peers. During these formative years of interpersonal skill development, a major focus with our preschoolers is learning about turn-taking and being able to interpret social cues from others.

Children at this stage of early childhood learning and development at our Brampton daycare are encouraged to take ownership of their play. Our preschoolers learn how to express their wants and needs in a social setting while maintaining cohesion in a play/learning environment. These are essential and fundamental skills that our Angelic Treasures will carry with them throughout their lives.

    Kindergarten

    Ages 4 – 5 years

Oftentimes, parents consider private Kindergarten care for their children. It is a smaller classroom setting with ample opportunity for one-on-one attention from their caregiver. Each child will have an individualized learning plan to improve their cognitive development and foster a love of learning.
This age group learns best through play activities—your child won’t even know that they’re “learning.” Instead, our Brampton JK and SK learners take part in fun activities involving graphs and maps, patterns, spatial awareness and more. These activity plans help to foster and develop their abilities to identify and remember specific layouts and patterns, engaging in meaningful discussions with caregivers and classmates.

Throughout the week, our Brampton daycare team ensures that parents are an active part of their child’s growth, learning and development. We provide images and explanations of our daycare activities each week so that parents can follow along and know exactly what their child is doing at our daycare facility. Children also develop their French-speaking abilities, which sets them up for multilingual capabilities down the road, including French immersion if that is a route that parents wish to go.

    Christene Cousins

Christene has been working with children since the age of 16 in recreational, daycare, after-school programs and most recently, a gospel arts camp in Brampton. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education and is excited about seeing children learn, grow, and reach developmental milestones. Sybil Das

    Supervisor

What excites me about working in childcare is that I get to see the process of the children growing, and I get to be a part of it. Children are like plants, they all grow in a different way, and they all have unique personalities. Children come into the centre every day with a smile on their faces, and that makes me so happy. As an RECE, It is so exciting to see them every morning, as they bring warmth into my life.
